I know you love me
but you say you don't
not in the way
that you would drag me by my hair
to your bamboo house by the sea
I'm not good enough for that.

When it comes down to it
I land with a bloody thud
on the rocky earth
and you give me an ace bandage.

Kiss me and make me better.
Heal me
and kill my desperate repitition.
