~Ramble Series~

And I fell into place
Trusting the journey
Where poetry lives
Among shadows,
Winds of time no longer blow softly

I exist to
Look inward
To quiet pools
Of peace, hoping, but
Flowers do not bloom
Anymore and
The mist seeps
Slowly outward, barely visible

My basic needs
Seemingly never to be found;
I am a restless plunge of
Mystery, uneven, guilty,
Shifting lines thinner,
Absorbed in
Music, trying to compose
Certain, harmonic tones
In the note of the composer

Yet I've held on through
The black waves,
Slapping and stinging
Passing over
Brilliant white sands
To see the girl standing
Shoreline, peering
From a mask of destiny forming a
Faith of belief
Failing in reality

Fade me upon the land
Unfold my words in
Gentle manner
Give my pattern
To the rain soaked earth,
Lead me to the edge
Of the sea
And let me read aloud
My soul

Greeneyes~

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows
of my heart

Wow.  This has to be one of the best writings I have ever read here.  I can't tell you how much I love this.

Thank You for this!

This equals the beauty behind such a mask ...
a picture forged and coloured by your own soul.

If you re-read and find new words to speak, than by all means, please continue rambling!!

I listen above the calmness of time's tide for you to begin.

This is stunningly beautiful Lauren. The lyrical quality is outstanding. Your opening notes are exquisite. Another one into my favorites library.

"let me read aloud my soul. . . "

yes. . . that line is the best I feel. . . for when the soul is read, the heart is seen. . .

I love these "rambles" of yours Lauren. . . you really reach your best in them. . .
