~*~ Women…Would the world be without them? ~*~

Women
Along the line of time
Have been creatures so sublime
That men accused them to be
Creatures of mystery
At times they accused them to be
The source of misery

But what’s the world
Without women?
Could you look at it and say
That it would be better without them
Alway?
Could you ever pretend?
That you won’t care
If they are not there
to share
Share the smiles
The endless miles
And be with you
Through clear…or cloudy skies

Could you imagine
How would the world ever be
Without their enchanting melody?
Would you really live it without them
Even if you were granted eternity?

The earth is but a woman
Wrapped up in all hues
In her quietness, in her anger
She is but a woman
With all the different moody clues
You live in and out of her womb
And she…
A kind mother
Showers you with one thing
After the other

So tell me…sir
Would you ever try
To wish a world without a woman close by?
And do you think would you ever be happy
No matter how hard you try?
.
.
.
.
.
.
Ah…silence!
& a fluttering look in your eye
then I should need
no reply

Thank you

(smiles) Awwwwwwwww, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, this brought a tear to my eye because I think women are one of the most beautiful gifts of man just as God is and the person who makes me most happiest of all is the woman of my dreams, Joanna! (kiss on cheek) May we all respect and celebrate women like you always, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Oh I loved the feel of this one, and it was in my mind a setting in a Victorian era where they were speaking in a garden openly about this.  Oh see, my imagination ran away with it, but isn't that what a good poem does?  I loved it and of course into my library it went!

Well,  I am a guy...hope you know...
and I don't think I let women go...
For without their faces to see
I would not be writing this poetry.

Very nice poem,  much enjoyed...and
please don't tell the rest of the guys
that I agree....
