Simonized Moon
~*Marge Tindal*~

~Shine of light
upon a velveteen sky
Poetic hearts in gentle sigh
Simonized Moon of brightest glow
sending love's light to all lovers below
Caught in soft rays of a monthly phase
sending illumination in brightly-lit blaze
Oh Simonized Moon how you do shine
showering us with love-light divine
As I look out a window tonight
I'll see you and I'll smile
with sheer delight~

*Thanks to SEA~ for reminding me
to honor the LunaLady~

Shine of light

Simonized Moon of brightest glow
===========================

only you could come up with "Simonized Moon"
last night was one of the most amazing moon glows Ive seen...we had snow blowing and reflecting the light and there were smoky clouds passing in front of the full moon which was very low... first it was yellow...as it rose it turned the purest white glow...I froze something I needed off, out there taking pics...but it was worth it.

The moon and stars hold a special place in the hearts of romantics and poets...and being both you paint a picure so well.

I was busy trying to control the fireworks inside (my heating unit picked last night to blow up.... stinkola and fanny-freezing! LOL) so I missed the moon until this morning... and then I relished every traffic light that gave me opportunity to wait and gape. *S* It was so lovely... even as it the sun rose to steal its glory. *S*

I love your moon poems, Marge... and this is no exception. *S*

Auntie Margie girl this is beautiful, one day far into the future I might make a shape like this, but even if I did it wouldn’t be as wonderful as this. YOU are an inspiring and unique soul thank you for this special treat

I saw that moon
cross my path
thought I'd do
a little math
see how many
poems would fly
to greet the moon
up in her sky
counted the stars
in the Milky Way
still more poems
said her say
and she winks
and grins at me
then invites all
for wine and cheese

I saw that moon
cross my path
thought I'd do
a little math...

Marge:  A lovely tribute to the full moon, which we are really enjoying (even though it is shining on SNOW!)

however I shine brightly
how could I not shine
when you write beautiful words
causing me to swell in pride

Marge-
YES...I saw that moon last night, and it was gorgeous!
So much so that I actually pulled out the digital
camera and took some pictures of it.
I just love that we can all be so far apart,
but still share the beauty of the same moon.
I'm loving this poem, Marge.
It's as gorgeous as the moon was, and it's
very uniquely YOU.  Janet Marie is right...
only YOU could come up with 'Simonized Moon'.
Love and hugs,
~Vicky

AND her shadow~
Very uniquely YOU~

I'm smiling *big time* that you let me write my thoughts to go with your photo~

Oh, We're just a couple of moonies
Flipping the night pages like goonies
Traveling along - writing our songs
Side by Side~

Oh no ... that's just the way I started out yesterday morning !!!!!!
I think I'm gonna have to switch coffee brands~

But ... but ... I'm not here
so this must not be me ...
and if it's not me ...
who's posting on my page ????

LOL ... I'm beginning to sound like my friend Doreen ...
cause I'm sure 'cracking myself up' !
