Morning Eyes of Old

Something in your eyes
trails your thoughts
in morning words.
From darkness
weaving silent gold
contageous feelings heard.
You are, you aren't
you have, you leave
perfection, guided hands.
I secret you, in heart anew
night songs, to morning land.

Far away, yet closer still
the feel of fantasy
erupts to reign
upon my light.
Become me, destiny.
Something in your eyes
to follow midnight
dreams of dawn.
I walk through darkness
into light
'til solitudes withdrawn.

Upon the air
I breathe the need,
digest the kiss of day.
To breakfast words
of rainbow taste
dissolving myst away.
Another lifetime
searching still
embodies me come morn.
I walk through darkness
into light,
your song of words
adorn.

Always, your morning words
treat the readers
to a wonderful "wake".
thanks DS

M

Whoever DS is, is a lucky person to have such a beautiful piece written to her/him
