I'd be a fugitive
from the law
I'd change my
name and address
Every hard earned penny
I would withdraw
I'd learn how to
jump onto boxcars
Ride the rails
from dusk till dawn
I'd slyly barter
for my supper
If need be -
my rings I'd pawn
If loving you
meant jail time
I'd probably
get life
Imprisoned willingly
right beside you -
Committed husband
and faithful wife.
