I find silence and calling in the remains of a chandelier
that once flickered in a wall of window on a hill,
light slicing divine and a desire.
Energy infests the beating warm cavity of me,
deep and devious with it’s will,
to witness the shatter and ghosting of glitter
with a shotgun shell again, just twice, fulfilled.
To crystal splinter the sea and me, oh my.
(anger can be so beautiful -  a god damn gorgeous mess)
The lawn and pavement, sparkle sinned and crying,
trickling friction through the blades,
swelling Saturday's tides caught off guard,
and wondering now in circles
around mulberry bushes and vine.
And I, walk myself along the edge of whispers
and see the beauty in this destruction,
wrap the core of silence in a bang, and long for a rerun of it all.

First the anger, then the calm. You have a wonderfully unique way of contrasting human emotions to the shattering of crystal and sharply swollen blades of grass.
But with hopefulness, you "wrap the core of silence in a bang, and long for a rerun of it all" I love it.

Intensity holds a certain beauty and fascination, even when born of destruction and anger.  Incredible work!

This is chillingly well done! Chris

Well I have to be honest that sometimes I don't fully understand what you are saying, but I love what I get out of your writing, and look forward to each and every piece that you post, for I learn so much from your work.  Beautifully done as usual, as you squeeze everything out of a word.

BRAVO!!! Oh my gosh, this is emotionally powerful, sweet friend, I know this feeling ever so much and sometimes we best express ourselves with rage and intensity, then once we let it all out, we find peace and learn to love ourselves quietly at heart! (smiles) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much, God Bless You! (big hugggsssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

To crystal splinter the sea and me, oh my.

heh - I LOVED this line... it was a whimsical interlude amidst the pressure of jagged recollections. needless to say i don't gather all the references in this - i have the feeling with all of your poetry that many segments are slices of your life which only those who walk it with you would understand. still, the looking back, the longing, i think i got that part. aalong with the above (which made me smile really big) my fave line was - Energy infests the beating warm cavity of me,

sweet lady A, very sweet.

ps - it's dIvine, not dEvine. (and kill the comma after "chandelier" please.

~ Thank you, thank you. For time and reading, and honesty and thought. I treasure each of your words, please know. (and Chris, thank you, funny thing though, I did the spell check, and it came up as being mispelled but the suggestions offered just weren't working, I had decided that I was spelling it correctly, and so didn't bother to look it up in the book, and now look, ahaa, I had a friend named devine once, maybe that. I scratched the comma in the first line, it was a good suggestion yeah, I often fuddle with those things).
*Peace poets. Thank you.
