state of confusion

When longing
nudges my sense of reality
from its framework,
how boundless
the ocean.

The sea would
not let me drown,
except
as a lover
might.

Corinne

I love the way you wrote this, simple-profound.

I love this.

I could write a book: but I can't. If understood, then the compliment is taken well...

Gorgeous, Corinne... and brushes a shadowed part of me that at first appeared to have drowned, itself, in some deep fairytale sleep of a hundred years -- and lost in its own dreams, could not feel the touch of all the real around it, and so, while subsisting, was quite mistaken for something vanished or not altogehter alive -- but was stirred, instead, here, at the simple (but, oh, how not) strike of words: rolled over moaning and opened its eyes to my own...

~smile~ and there a page to the book is, without my meaning to... but as open and full as wanted.

I love this.

Sunshine - thank you, glad you liked!

Thank you, Noah, you are always so kind.

Martie - thanks for saying so. I was afraid that it was too succint!

ElizbethCor - how wonderful that you found your own insights in this, I am honored. And write that book!!! I'll be the first to read it!

but. . . would we want to be rescued??

this speaks so much. . . I'm not sure that I can tell it all to you. . . but, you already know it. . .

well done. . .
