    Peace Shall Come (when we stop looking)

   Been searching all my life for some inherent clue
   to beginnings of peace, a source of all that is new
   Tears are an ocean that I have swam in too often
   Believers are those who try to abolish all their sins.

   But, my dear, all I want is simply to love and stay
   You give me every reason to live fullest each day
   There are moments to divide equally, for you and I
   and I won’t rest until I have made you deeply sigh.

   When I finally stopped looking, the peace then came
   in twilight night as romance soft-called my name
   Felt serenity finally: In your arms, and in your eyes
   If true love is finite truth, then it shall never lie.

   It came so naturally, that troubles seemed far away
   The choice was always ours to run, or to bravely stay
   So run to me, my love, run into the safety of my arms
   No more worrying, no more despair, no more harm.

   Peace shall follow our shadow for the rest of days
   Love shall bind our minutes in an exquisite grace.
              You are my peace
               and I am yours
                  forever
