Night-spawned shadows arise and hover
ever over my fawn-eyed lover.
Moon-splashed skies will nigh discover
silken sighs drawn by another.

Downcast glances, so sleek, not somber.
Oh, never seek romances yonder.
As dawn nears, I fear then ponder
when light spears, where will night wander?

Sunkissed morning made day all dapple.
Surrender shade, day's fist shall grapple!
Clover-scented air with apple,
prayed my senses like a chapel.

Newborn dew, stay a glassy gleaming
within the brassy sunshine streaming.
This fine morn'lay new sights screaming
classy scorn for last night's dreaming...
Crassly scorned, a fey night's dreaming.

YAY!!! Oh my gosh, this is soooooo gorgeous, both the monorhyme stanzas in the meter and the visions you create are gorgeous! Morcastlin I really love this poem it is UTTERLY utterly fabulous

I can't understand why it had so few replies but that sometimes happens when the pages are moving so fast
