What Grace Has
By Larry Chadwick

Grace has a home,
That it may harbor you.
Grace has a heart,
That it may comfort you.

Grace has no rights,
That it may humble you.
Grace has its laws,
That it may challenge you.

Grace has equality,
That it may alter you.
Grace has a cost,
That it may remind you.

Grace has its price,
That was paid for you.
Grace has its hero,
That’s the One who died for you.

Grace has wings to go on and on,
Going where God would dare to soar.
Grace has power to go on and on,
Protecting where all may live for evermore.

I've never read a poem written on grace. Just read much about it in the bible. This was so lovely. Grace is a lovely attribute. floria

Larry - this is graceful, no pun intended. And it is so true, about "Grace"...

A very good poem...where would we be without His grace...so freely given, we have to do nothing to earn it, just ask and receive. And so it is with true friends also...always gracious with unconditional love...thanks for sharing this poem.

floria,
Grace is a very deep subject hardly scratched the surface here. But thanks bunches.

Lauren,
I had an aunt Jewell. Hmmm Cool, I hadn't thought of that application to this. Thanks.

Bill,
Thank you. I always respect your observations.

Karen,
Gentle lady...as always thank you.

Noah,
I got an amen! Cool. Thanks.

HumbleBee,
Love that tag! Hey...you could have or should have written this. Excellent insight and worth a deeper poem I'm sure. Thanks.
