Blindsided
in an instant
I’d fallen in love with you

there is not a word to describe
how it felt

being in love
being loved
in an eternal beginning

I know this feeling...yes, I know this feeling so well. As I've always said...you can put so much meaning into so very few words...yes, blindsided sums it up very, very well
Blindsided by a feeling
When first I met you there
Blindsided by a feeling
By a love that struck midair
Blindsided by a feeling
As your love melts into mine
Blindsided by a feeling
These hearts hearts are so entwined
Oh yes I know the feeling
Being struck by love like this
Oh yes I know this feeling
As two lovers share a kiss
So if by chance you’re wond’ring
If it happened just to you
My darling just remember
The blindside caught me too

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Duncan - few words at times say the most, as this writing does. Excellent...

No, there really are no words/word for this but you come hauntingly close.

ANother of those less is more type poems.  You give just enough to trigger what for most people is a familiar, yet eminently indescribably feeling.

Well done.
