Perched upon a branch of a mulberry tree a brilliant red cardinal above our deeply carved initials a sweet songbird i watch in awe Eating a cluster of tiny berries tempting berries hang gracefully waiting for his pink crested mate to share the morning tenderly She appears and his feathered wings flutter as crystal raindrops christens the tree i remember words you silently uttered standing beneath that mulberry with me Let us carve our initials forever And like two cardinals love faithfully "To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides." ~ David Viscott [This message has been edited by Victoria (01-09-2002 12:59 PM).] |

We have some of the most beautiful red cardinals here in Indiana. I was emailing a friend in England and he said "send me a picture, what is a cardinal!" can you imagine??? Kathleen-- |

  (sigh) You are sooooooo romantic, I love cardinals, and I could picture two lovebirds in a feather, cooing softly to each other in love!
