The night filled with questions
The morning gazes from the horizon
No gulls in sight, it is too cloudy
The winds blow from all directions
Under the fiddlewood wakes my weary body

The chilly morning tears through
Far away I hear sounds of years ago
Gathering my senses wiping my eyes
I wander through the path of life
Where do I go, who do I meet?

The cold cloud of life's struggle
Shattering the best and the humble
Tempests destroying emotions
Never giving a chance for reparations
Alone, and in the darkness we stumble

There is somewhere a light that shines
A sun that breaks the clouds of sorrow
I shall find my way through the tomorrow
And when I can smile again alone
The cloud will turn into a rainbow
Covering me for the rest of my days

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Daniel, if you lived closer I would invite you over for a cup of hot tea and honey.
This is wonderful poetry.

Kathleen,
I appreciate the kind invitation. Thank you, perhaps one day we can do just that.
