Care to Dance, Cowboy?

I see you walk into the room
and I love the way you're dressed.
Your flannel shirt's seen better days
but at least its clean and pressed.
Your jeans have that sprayed on look,
but honey, I don't mind.
I've watched you come and go,
I think I prefer you from behind.
Your cowboy hat on your head
really shows your roots,
but you know what does it for me?
Its those hand made leather boots.
I watch you head toward the bar
then lightly step in your way.
I really couldn't help myself,
I just had to say....

Care to dance, Cowboy?

Ole Balladeer ain't a cowboy, but I will bet he will be jumpin' at this one.  Great write, but ain't all cowboy poems?! You describe the true nature well and the whole piece was a delight to read.

We ARE a right friendly crowd!  And there's several cowboys among us, so watch where you walk.  [They leave their horses outside, generally, but one never knows...]

Welcome aboard, lil lady.  That was a very good poem.  I like the way you ended the poem so cleanly.  The visual impact was excellent too.

Just a few words of caution... If you run across Balladeer, don't trust him with your fantasies.  He's already told me lots of secrets from other women, and I hate it when he does that.  Just tell your fantasies to me first and it will save us all a whole lot of time - lol.

As you can see, these Forums can be fun and satisfying at the same time.  I'm still working on the fun part.

SEA, you just have to love a cowboy, don't you.   Thank you for the welcome.
LngJhnAg, Thank you for the comments on my poem. Glad to know it worked.
And thanks for the warning, I'll make sure I don't share my fantasies with Balladeer. It seems to me you know how to keep a secret so lean a little closer....whisper.
