Some Days

I awaken to the sun's rays, streaming through the blinds.
Replaying thoughts and visions of the past in dreamscape minds.
Not wanting to alight, needing comfort behind these eyes.
My imprisoned heart, in shadow's arms, foregoes the morning rise.

Feelings that I hold for you increase their depth each day.
A mixture of a summer's kiss, suspending me in play
Of satin, silks and shadow dance and stardust in it's fall.
Romantic me, lit up by night,  emotions moved by all.

The face of moon is laced in myst, yet softly travels time,
Reaching through the blue of me in skyscape words of rhyme.
Bonded to the petals of each cycled thought expressed,
Behind these eyes are verses held in pages, mind impressed.

To balance all in harmony, a legacy of love,
A gift of heart that reigns in touch, by words on lines above.

~Wynter
