Releaved

The other day I needed this,
a romp and playful time.
A chance to let the stressing out,
off here, instead of rhyme.
I often hold onto the best,
the friends on here, my gold.
But the other day, some good news came
to make my tight unfold.

I'm serious, too much they say
though some don't know the real.
If you can catch me in the right,
the moments are of zeal.
And so this day I piled them high
waiting for that call,
to end the year of falling times,
releasing smiles to all.

It isn't easy when you lose
control of what you had
and memories resurface,
as I try to plane the sad.
I start this week, when Thursday comes
to work with child in need,
fulfilling both a want inside,
for he and I, a seed..
A chance to sow my life again
and his to spring ahead.
Control for both is round the bend,
as negatives are shed.

So I am sharing news of this,
and why I won't be seen,
as obvious as once before
in day/night, in between.
But I will surface bit by bit,
from bottom as I rise,
and take the road ahead of me
to rainbow view life's prize.

Maureen

Wynter~
First of all the photo is GORGEOUS ....
What fun, gal~

Then the 'news' ... one can fairly 'see' the joy in your words~

And then the pure joy of the poem~
WONDERFUL~
*Big hugs* sweet friend ...
Wonderful to see the happy in you~
Love you~

I wonder...don't you ever sleep Marge?..I went to bed too early last night, woke up at 2 and figured I better get this written before I'm too busy...or too tired. This flu withdrawal has worn me out!
and I'm
~smiling because I am  glad you were the first to respond..it's not the greatest  picture but I was not given the chance to pose.

((hugssss)) and thank you

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Maureen, I am so so proud of you! (smiles) You are not alone, for all my family always says I take things too seriously all the time, and I can't help that because I've been abused in the past, and now I too always wake up to each day to try and find some pure joy among the world. (smiles) I love you, sweet friend! (kiss on cheek) I looovvveeeee the picture! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Poem and Pictures are very nice,
sometimes the unplanned things
are better.

Thy willow blossoms in another light,
for within a childs smile burns so bright.
Your strengths will be sorely missed ...
for your words, hearts and souls have kissed
and now your life seeks its right.

The best of luck to you Maureen.
Time will always be here waiting for your return,
... one question though, any apple pie left??

        be happy dear friend

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Noah..once again you lighten my load with words, thank you *

Sy,
although not one of my best. I would say finally a positive has come my way...and I thank you for always being  supportive, this was a long time coming.

Professor Gloom... Poem and Pictures are very nice,I don't think anything in the last two years has been planned, but this was a welcome, unplanned and perfect timing.

thank you Mr. Gloom *s

JamesM...oh this isn't my road to happiness...it is just the gate that let's me walk through the side of staidness...allowing me a chance to finally move forward.

ctowen you always remember parts of my other poems, and bring a smile to me when you do ..I won't be gone just not around for the  working hours and I will probably have nicer poems to write...losing the self-pity ones..focusing on other subjects.

I am licking the fork as I type one handed...the last slice now tormenting my taste buds. But I can always make another. I am happy..as long as I can have something to offer the world. This last year and  a half has eaten away at me. And anyway, happiness is relative..it  doesn't take much to make me happy....and smile     as my jump into a pile of leaves shows...thank you again.

Please to not forget ...
"You have a lot to offer the world
you have shown it through and through.
Perhaps hidden to painful folds unfurled
but ever present to these eyes of blue."

I, for one, will always be watching for you under the moon.

First,

I was going to comment on what I heard
in the delightful play of words,

but then I read, more and more,
of truly what good is in store

but as a poet, may I request
that you take your new life and its best

so pack a bit of memo pad
a pen will do the trick
and bring back all that's had
in the hearts made right and quick

and bring to us these new delights
as you pen away your nights...

Congratulations!

Hooray, hooray, Maureen's smiling and has me laughing with her title

The world is aright and the Crescent City rejoices as her resident poetess beams.

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

ctowen..your poetic response was beautiful..and watching me..I would bore you to death...

RSWells..I don't believe you have a grouchy soul...not the way you write *s

Lady In White ..I will try my best, but these children have not led happy lives...hopefully I will be able to help them learn to adjust and bring them some joy while doing my job. I am not sure there will be much to pen about a 5 and 7 year old's struggles...although I may be in for quite  a surprise...*s

Interloper...as always I thank you for your support...you do have a way to make me smile. Thank you again, I.   hugssss
~Vicky I think you and Marge must drink the same water..always bubbly the both of you. Thank you  ((hugss))

~Wynter (I really don't start full time  until the middle of this week..the holidays  have interfered a bit with the hours of training needed...so I have been trying to play catch up on my poem responses...I thank all of my friends, again.)
