Parting

As darkness shadows,
I fall into dreams,
into the recesses of warmth
that your arms hold for me.

I try to remember
the last of your looks,
how your eyes
grasp the meaning
of my expressions
upon leaving you.

It's the fear, perhaps
of being the last time
that your blues may penetrate
and as I sigh to leave,
I am already missing you
even before...

~Wynter

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."

This is splendidly expressed... Parting is a sorrowful event... but knowing about the inevitable nature of parting and knowing this

,perhaps
of being the last time
that your blues may penetrate

is very moving...

Well written...

In admiration,
Regards,
Sudhir

Cold eyes
Cold blue eyes
Watching
Watching you
Blue watching you
Leaving you
Blue leaving you
Blue eyes leaving you
Till next time

My vision was that of the blue skies of day being overcome by the shadows of the night ...
and I share the fear of not knowing it maybe the last.

Well done, it flows with the deepness that is always within you.

Noah...thank you for your kind words

Thank you Marge~  hugsssss

Apachecat906..yes you may put into your library  but I am not so sure it is sad...as much as it is in the missing of someone when time together must end for the moment.

Startime...pain? No *s ...more a longing not to part the real and have to dream.

ctowen ..in a way you are correct, thank you.

Wynter-
This is so tenderly penned...reached in
   and touched my heart.
   Just lovely, my friend.

Donna, you understand me more than you will ever know...I hope all is well and the holidays bring you and April joy.

vandana ..thanks again *s enjoy

~Vicky..thank you..sometimes I touch myself with my words, when I read them later. (I never remember what I write for days after..sometimes wondering who it was that wrote these) I have a low threshhold for being sensitive...the tears are constant this year...I wonder if they will ever run out. huggssss
