Snowflake Whispers By: Noah Eaton 10/12/01 Cotton pixies parachute from heaven's clouds Quietly humming serene invocations through the night Daylight fading out over barley oceans Kaleidoscope sunset skies like a gristmill, scattering colors bright Nature's celestial melody throws off all disguise Impeaching angels hidden from behind heavens doors Lifting sleek veils from glass faces Sharing their beads, vaulting on porcelain slippers to the floor Snow Owl spreads her wings, crowing in luxury Feeling an angel land on her nose, merry as a cricket Rising her wings, rollicking to His looming blessing Light to the breast, embracing the gossamer moon's spirit Snowflake whispers blanket these fields of dreams Snow Owl pensively breathes the morning aria Warbling in the touch of an angels fingers Chanting her family's hymn during His winter bravada... |
