My world is like an unbalanced vacuum I am perpetually linked to you Your wishes I shall question but obey I shall give the distance requested by you For I have a craving every day Though it severely burns every time we are near I have a voracious need of your love To my heart I hold you near and dear You are smart and savvy, you are what I am not You are you and I am me whether we like it or not In a flurry of words you demolish my heart I don’t know why you continue cheating us out of love I sit and marvel at my screen When I gaze upon eyes of green Even when you are not around You hold a significant place in my life A scavenger of hearts You are the orange in my early morning sun light You are the white in my clouds You are the gray of my storms You are the deep blue of my night light You are the sound of my words as I shout aloud I love you alan Oct.14,2001 |
