~* Look Deep Into The Eyes Of A Poet *~

~* Look Deep Into The Eyes Of A Poet *~

Look deep into the eyes of this poet,
Try to see through to her soul and mind.
Do you see all the flotsam and jetsam,
dodging poetry fragments and lines?

Watch your step as you travel,
The cobwebs of time bind her soul,
In dark loneliness she will entrap you,
To fill a void now being her only goal.

Beware the dark shadows of memory,
they will sting, and are bloodied by time.
Enjoy the gentle, orgasmic, and sensual
swirling eddies, some without rhyme.

Softly notice the gentle spirit there hiding.
Tiptoe past the bruised heart mending there,
as she knits poems, stringing pearls on a necklace,
there are unfinished jewels laying everywhere.

Did you notice on your tour of this poet
the outside, no different you see.
But inside, a muse runs rampant,
With the history that made this poet me.

~I always have time to listen to someone talking from their heart~

Sharon - Yanno, that web thingie, and the fame of the female spider, kinda give me some shivers here - lol.  This poem speaks volumes of you.  It is worth another read, at least.

Sharon, I think this speaks for many of the poets out here...the female species anyway..um, perhaps some of the gentlemen as well,    ...but, I think we females are a little more passionate.
Well done. ~hugs, Nancy.

How true are these words....IF only we could
see inside....However, seems our poetry does
often reflect some part of what is there.
Thank you for a nice read.

Passion is found in many places and in many different forms...  This poem intrigues me and encourages some pausing moments to appreciate the scenery of your internal poetic world.

Quite effective; I liked this one the best of several of your poems I've read in recent days.

I have looked into the eyes of "this poet" up close and in person...and what I saw there was a beautiful lady who has become such a special part of my life.  We share many cobwebs and scars, and they become so much a part of the muse...yet, beyond that, there is a radiant beauty that comes from deep within the heart that compels the pen to look deeper into life and all that it sends our way, and blesses us with the gift of being able to put those feelings and emotions into words that leave the reader spellbound.
This was awesome, as yours always are!
Hugs and much love to you, always,

Truly fair maiden your writings have the
Ability to enter so very deeply within ones soul
The reader feels your soul while reading your words.
I do applaud thee as a fellow poet with very high praise
For worthy are thee indeed.
It is not just any poet that can accomplish this task by taking pen in hand.
The gift that you possess is most wonderful.
I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your write.
Thank you for sharing
With Warmest Wishes unto thee

What a lovely piece you have penned Mysteria. The history of Mysteria, I think we all have a similar history around here
And that eye by Baladeer above.....well, that's just creepy!!!

Dawn ~ Well after that I don't know what to say to you, except I love you bunches   how's that?

Loneheart ~ Your address is http://iamloneheart.shorturl.com/  and  well worth a visit.  I am absolutely speechless, as I was just telling an administrator of this site today, perhaps I should just read and comment and not write, as I really don't know what the heck I am doing, and she reinforced me to keep trying, and now your words truly do have me in tears, thanks so much.  I just want to "get through" to anyone with my life experiences, leave a few things I learned on the way, in the hopes that their life will be a tad better than mine was, but I love my life now!  Again, thanks so much and your homepage is absolutely beautiful.  Sorry, I could not find the guestbook (p.s. if you don't have one - Bravenet is a good one, and it is free!)  Free is good.

Balladeer ~ Willing yes sweetie, but able?

Tracey ~ You are probably right!  And as for that monkey up there, check behind your mirrors tonight

More than one dimension to all of us. Less work on our grey matter to shunt to shallow shelves what we perceive as the character of some of our writers. Very good Sharon who I know has such depth.

Woven with perfection. It is easy to see into the soul of a poet when you realise that every poem we write is a part of our soul. This is beautiful, Mysteria. I love it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

vandana - thank you

Richard ~ Wow, great to see you back!  Yup, my friend you may know me a lot better than most, that is what makes us friends right    Ah, that means you wrote, off I go....

Startime ~ Quite true, but in reality with me, I write sometimes to get away from what is inside, rather than put it out for all to read.  Most of mine are just stories or poems, (the ones I post).
