This is a song I wrote but I thought I'd post it here anyway.......ET

Baby you don't know me,
ever since I lost you
and I'll never blame you cause,
you went your way.
But I been hopin that you'd greet me,
with a teardrop in your eye
but you always turn and look away.
Now I know you'll find someone
who will be true to you
but even though I sinned
he can't replace our time

Chorus:
Please block that heartache from your vision
put your heart back where it's missin
put our love back in your mind

She was just a young girl
and the minute she walked in
I felt her searchin eyes
fill up the room.
Now I got these regrets
bout what I should have done
and I couldn't have left too soon.
I can't even hate that someone
who brought the truth to you
but even though I sinned
you can't replace our time.

Please block that heartache from your vision
put your heart back where it's missin
put our love back in your mind.

Bridge:
How long must I wait
for that deep hurt to leave you
for love that made us one.
got to think regrets come too soon.
just how long baby
will our love stay undone
I was there when you were
I'm so sorry girl for hurtin you.

Please block that heartache from your vision
put your heart back where it's missin
put our love back in your mind

What a sweet, melancholy song. I can almost here the tune. Lovely writing as always.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

"Put our love back in your mind."
A very catchy line...I remember talking to a friend the other night and I told her "You can't make me love you...it must come from within my own thoughts and desires."  James

The heartbreak and regret sings clearly through the lines in this tender piece Eric ... I would love to hear the melody behind this piece ... very much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit
