Didn't know where this one was going...but I have to say I'm happy with the outcome...but don't know what to call it as it's rather 'out there' for me.

Cat’s in the cradle
soup’s on the table
everyone’s here
but the moon.

Fly’s in the cupboard
Old Mother Hubbard
shedding a tear
in a spoon.

Roaming the hillside
it’s such a thrill, I’d
walk with a friend
hand in hand.

Eggs in the skillet
bread made with millet
sing me a tune
with the band.

Rockets are flying
agents are spying
apples are making
sweet sauce.

Flowers are dying
children are crying
thunder is shaking
the cross.

Moon will be spinning
blood red and grinning
dancing the sky
in the night.

Sun will be bright’ning
strike out the lightning
God will make
ev’rything right.

I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

VAS~ Lovely!  The rhyme and flow of this is very unique.  It's like a chant...it almost pulsates.

Hugs,
~Krista

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

What a fun bunch of 'nursing' rhymes to patch our wounded hearts.
