Sometimes when you least expect,
a knock comes to your door
You try hard to ignore it,
yes, you’ve heard that knock before
But human nature as it is,
just had to have a peek
It’s Love, come calling, bringing all
the answers that you seek...

And love is not a stranger,
she has visited at times
She harbours certain dangers,
certain pains within her rhymes
To some of us, the chance to know
her pleasures still entice
And when she calls, she’ll never need
knock twice!

To open hearts and hopeful minds,
she gives her gifts of joy
Which turns an old heart into that
of youthful girl or boy
It’s all right there, within your reach,
if only you can see
Her gifts, without conditions,
are all free...

So, always keep a listen,
for Love’s gentle magic knock
It could be any time,
because Love knows no tick of clock
She could wear any face,
for she’s a Mistress of disguise
You’ll know her,
when you gaze into her eyes...

I know this, for not long ago,
she knocked upon my door
I opened wide, and let her in,
she’d called on me before
But this time she had brought a friend,
with heart so pure and true
So, never doubt her motives,
when she comes to call on you!

The road goes on forever, and the stories never end...

This was extraordinary. You gave Love life...gave your reader a new twist. Excellent job!

Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

An enjoyable read, with a positive message.

My door is still awaiting for that special knock. Thanks, Sunnyone!
