~~~ To read Your Palm ~~~ Do you know What I want to do? Read your palm As if I always knew Knew these lines And memorize them by heart So I could tell it all From the start Trace my finger along The line of life In you. Make you shiver As I foretell all That I should know so well What do you want me to say? That I want you to be here always? That your road will come my way That you will forever stay In your palm, I shall read The beginning The end The growing seed Of love Unfathomed As the sea I can already see you tremble Anticipating my touch As I closely read your palm And force you to hush So would you extend your palm Let me read this line That should foretell of us In this web of time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you *I've written this some time ago and I don't know why felt like posting it today. *********************************** |
An elegant draping of thought in a consistent style which reveals a shimmering facet of its poet... I wonder, if you read my palm, what would you see? -MVS "Learn to let go of fear, doubt, and disbelief..." --THE MATRIX |
Lovely piece of writing. Wish I could read palms -it would save me a lot of trouble If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
Beware a jagged line of heart-- for this one loves in fits and starts. And should this line entwine with head-- you have a "Simian" line instead-- where mind meets heart and heart's confused-- this one's temper leaves a bruise... A healthy mound of Jupiter has more luck than one deserves-- depressions in the plains of Mars? An Artist who is easily scarred. Should lines of three meet mound of moon-- A prophet singing madman's tune. There are more words to sing this song, But first? Let silver cross the palm! You've inspired me! Hope ya don't mind! LOVED your poem. Your palm reads like poetry! |
