My Minds Aloof Leaving my worlds reality Are falling leaves and butterflies They nettle on a wisp of cloud That settles in a weeping shroud. The leaves are fewer every year Less and less butterfly appears. And stigma takes the place of dream At least to me so it would seem. Less shadows fall upon the glen The green seems paler now than then. And lilies over crowd the fields With less daffodils in the yield The pain comes through my minds aloof Like the rain through a leaky roof The drip constant without a miss It wears upon my state of bliss. I search for greener fields today But I hear the wind whispering nay. |

It seems my Stinky has got the blues All this sadness just wont do There must be something wrong with your eyes You mention not seeing the butterflies And I dont know what wind your listening too But thats not the breeze that Im sending you Your mind is many things NONE of which is aloof Your wise and wonderful poetry is my only needed proof If your pastures arent green, you must be off course If your missing butterflies, you only need look to the source I sent Randy up to the roof to fix that leak Now tell me is there any other answers you seek I just cant stand to see my Sybabes feeling this low So Im blowing ya kisses and winkies from head to toe   ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ if your still feeling weary, worried or worn ... take a couple of these and call me in the morn *L* *winkiewinkie*    |
