On A Journey To The Unknown

She is my first born
And, I'm all worn.

I raised her the best I could
She didn't do all that she should.

Alot of mistakes, she did make
But, we've all made a mistake.

But, she's doing good, now
And for that,  I say wow.

She went back to school
Cause she really is no fool.

She's going to be a medical assistant
And, she is very, very persistant.

She went to see my sister
And, I really did miss her.

Now, she is back home
Where she does belong.

I taught her to stand on her own
After she was full grown.

She doesn't always listen
But, her eyes sparkle and glisten.

Sometimes, she comes to see me
Because, with me she wants to be.

She will have a good job, now
And, for that I say wow.

I am proud she is my daughter.
