In All My Life

I was taught to chase rainbows and to ride the wind as far as I could
To not allow myself to think I'm bigger then nature's pleasures
That I should enjoy what today brings that tomorrow may be gone
And, to view myself as fortunate that I can witness nature's treasures...

And, once upon a time I stood on top of the world
I lived my days communicating to all displayed before my eyes
For I understood the rain and was nighttime's greatest friend
I've never felt such completeness to relate to nature's cries...

In all my life I've never felt how equal was supposed to feel
Until nature's hands touched my thankful soul
For I danced with the leaves every time there was a breeze
And, my awareness to beautiful simply took control...

In all my life I never knew that freedom could sing
That willing to listen I found answers word for word
So, with all my might I let the sun lead me to pastel waters
And, my thirst for faith soon became the most awesome tune heard...

In all my life I never thought I'd walk on courage's ground
Until the storms placed their arms around me
I became one with the lightening never again to be frightening
And, to bravery's door I held the key...

In all my life knowledge has never been this easy to find
And, in all my life I never knew strength could be a friend of mine
For I have viewed breath taking in it's many shades of love
And, have kissed such loyalty that many have only dreamed of...

This is just so profoundly lovely~

I like this one.

Makes me want to run out in the rain.

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
