Words

Truism of words is as subtle as birds.
Flying from writer to mind of the reader
Singing its song different each read.
Each chamber echoes different each need.

They resonate each minds experience
No two will see it quite the same.
Each one will read in ghosts of difference
And no soul can really quite explain.

So I often write to please myself
More often as not they stay a shelf.
Yet I delve into wells and the deepest hell
And seek out some words I can’t even spell.

I really know not why I write
It is a struggle and a fight.
I have often tried to refrain
But I cannot control this brain.

The words they come in sleep and wake
And I cannot resist baking a cake.

======================================

I dont care if you spell them right ...
dont care if you type them in black or white
I dont care if they always rhyme ...
dont care if your meter keeps perfect time

Not to read your words would be a curse ...
I crave thy lines ... thy every verse
Writes of wisdom and truth far too often unheard
You should know by now ... I hang on your every word.

me

Well tomorrow holds only mystery
And who's to say what might be
But in you I found a love so strong
The sun and the moon looked on in jealousy
