Emotional Ties

The motions bind me to your words
those thoughts that often hold me, still
if only heard from deep within
you'd know the truth, to empty fill.

In times of sadness, cleaving I,
that seem to pave a darkened path,
stretching far beyond the norm
to rest myself in worded bath.

Each time when letters cross the void
and reach this mind that craves its feel,
to filter out what harbors grief
becoming then, a touch of real.

Such ties that bind have knotted tight.
Emotions linger day and night.

~Wynter

lovely poem of longing and lingering wynter...
poetically pretty phrasing, vocab, and language
the cadence added to its pleasures
well done poetess.

Well tomorrow holds only mystery
And who's to say what might be
But in you I found a love so strong
The sun and the moon looked on in jealousy
