Mysteria has been telling me so much about this board and asking me to come, that I just had to stop in. Lovely poetry everyone...
I am not much of a poet, except when I have writer's block or something special inspires me, so my poems are few and far between. Though I did read something on this board that did call forth the muse, and thought I would post it.

I Know You

The smile in your eyes speaks to me.
The lines of your face ... they whisper.
Touching a part of my soul that remembers...
Yes, it remembers.

You speak and I feel confusion.
Advise and I feel peace.
I know you, though we have not met today,
or yesterday ... my soul knows you ...
and I struggle to understand.

Welcome!!! I echo the two above, I really enjoyed this. Am curious, you write poetry when you have writer's block?   What do you write when you don't have writer's block?

btw: your writer's block is mighty fantastic if this is what this is

VAS, I write romance novels. I work through tough spots with poems about the scene or characters. Though I also write it about just me or things that effect me as well sometimes.
I want to thank everyone for the lovely welcome and Sunshine for the card. What a friendly place!
             Best regards,

A warm welcome from me too. Mysteria was right to get you to share your poetry with us. Your writersblock creates very nice poems I must say.
For us I hope you'll have many of them

Thanks, Titia

Whoo Hooo Miranda, howdy my partner in crime! Don't do poetry, right!  Well I am putting the link to your site right on this darn post so people will know how talented you really are, the resources you offer writers for free, and the entrance to my favorite chatroom in the whole world (where only writers go)...so there! This picture reminded me of you, so here it is for no particular reason but that - lol - hugs and welcome!   So, here is the link to Miranda's great site for writers http://www.dreamwater.org/art/falconspen/

What a wonderful way to cure writer's block!    I don't wish to take away from your romance novels, but I do hope you get writer's block more often so we can see more of your work here!  Welcome to Passions!  You'll fit right in
