If I Had To Have A Kitten

~*Marge Tindal*~

If I had to have a kitten
well then I suppose
I'd want one just as cute
as one of those

But then I'd be so careful
to keep my bird house hung up high
for I can surely see
the smitten kitten look in those eyes

Three little kittens
sure don't look so mitten-lost to me
Pretty clever little fluffs
up to no good mischief, I see

I ain't no kitten,
but I am smitten,
with your rhyme,
most all the time.

Although I'm not,
a smitten kitten,
I sure do like,
What you have written.

Sorry, I tend to lose it late at night, as if I ever had it.   *smile*

three little kittens, stuck in a tree,
eyes on Marge's birdie, O' mercy me,
three kittens so fluffly, as cute as can be,
they'd best be vegetarian, or from Margie flee....

ohhhhhh this one is so cute, see those mischievous faces, do you think they would eat your bird?....*lol*...I had once a cat and he brought a bird at home for me, I was mad at him, but people told me that that was a gift.....poor bird.
Loved your poem as they always brings a smile upon my face.

This SmittenKitten retracts her claws
so that she can send applause
for this fine poem which speaks the truth
of feline mischief and uncouth
behaviour when it comes to birdies,
yum, those delicious tweedies!

Well of course I love this poem Marge

Marge-

they may be smitten
those three little kittens
but they wouldn't eat your birdie
they simply can't take
their eyes off of him
'cuz he really is quite purrdy

these three little kittens
are simply a'sittin'
relaxing through the day
they enjoy bird-watching
just as you do
so, please don't send them away

kittens are purrrrfect
for cuddling and loving
surely you don't question that
just give them a chance
they're sure to grow on you
then soon you'll have three lovely cats

Meeeeeeeeeoooooooowwww!!

I love animals, birds, puppys but especaily cats. The kittens are six weeks old now and into everything. One of them jumped into the fish tank when I was feeding them. Wow, he got a surprize.

Marge:  What a delightful poem and picture, plus music!  I loved it!  I have three cats, one of which is 23 years old.  She is a black and white and getting very frail. I can't imagine being without her, but I know it won't be long and I will be.
