Puppy Chow

Rolling around on an old mat,
Frolicsome fun as he flops about
Unsuspectingly.

The puppy fills his tummy with mother's milk
And tries his little teeth on an old red sneaker
Unsuspectingly.

A little boy hugs his neck and kisses his nose.
The puppy licks the jelly off his friend's cheeks
Unsuspectingly.

He wags his tail and yelps at his reflection
And jumps on his brother's back
Unsuspectingly.

The master pours food into his dish
And the young dog eats the poison-laced meat
Unsuspectingly.

A few days later, a man orders London Broil in a small restaurant down the block.
He heartily eats clearing his plate . . .
Unsuspectingly.

A chilling write...which has to be read very carefully...very macabre....

Welcome to Passions.  Please, check your e-mail for a special welcome.

Hey,
Welcome..
That is totally well
unsuspected...
The way it was set up was great
and the whole thing gets your attention
and holds it greatly.
Maybe I am morbid
but good job!

the title and your name attached to it definitely pulled me in...never expecting what I found, powerfully sad!

Welcome to Passions.  Too macabre for my tastes.  No pun intended
