Don't know if i posted this before, i wrote it a few weaks back but didnt like it and was cleaning out my poetry folder... i thought i'd share it anyhow. Not expecting comments.

       Titled: Raining

In the raining nights
Do the drops descend
to the ground with
such a pace.

In the raining days
Do the skies cloud
over, and bring darkness
not peace.

In the raining evening
Do the winds cryout
with longing emotion
wishing to release.

In the raining morning
Do the puddles splash
with such excitement
its a happy place.

I echo Acire. I liked this.

Beautiful, I loved all the different kinds of rainfall described.....especially the last verse. You have some wonderful talent, keep up the wonderful writing!

Dreys:

Your title caught my eye...I wonder how that happened, ne? ^_^

I really thought this was well done. The different ways you expressed when it rained, and the moods that came with them were very appropriate. Don'tcha just love rain? ^_^;

The flow was also great. Very...err...liquifying. *needs to get a new thesaurus* o_O; Matched the title very well.

The tone was awesome, the way you changed from light to dark to light again. The ending was nice and happy, which was quite good because RAIN ISN'T BAD. *not making any sense here...ignore me*

Keep up the good stuff!

Thanks, i appreciate the post. I personally don't mind rain, however, a close friend of mine likes it a lot. So this poem was kind of dedicated to her.

this is a beautiful poem...the imagery and emotion was...nicely expressed, togetehr.

I liked..."In the raining evening
Do the winds cryout
with longing emotion
wishing to release." sometimes even though your wind [sighs?] it still feels like you cant release the pain from which you started crying. nice. okay, im confusing myself [again]
