Although I am far from perfect
I'm beautiful to you,

You compliment me on my looks
But never tell me what I need to know,
I want to know what you feel for me
And if our relationship is going to grow.

You whisper in my ear
And tease me all the time,
And all I want to know
Is if you'll ever be mine!

I've been hurt too many times
One more I cannot take,
So I need to know
Is this for real or is it fake?

All I want to know
Is what you feel for me,
I guess I am blind
Can you please help me see?

Please just say you'll hold me
And never hate me if I cry,
Love me when I'm misreable
And still help me to get by.

Please don't ever give up on me
Please stick by my side,
Remember that I may get sick
And that this could be a bumpy ride.

But I'll always be here for you
Whatever come what may,
As long as you can promise me
That here is where you'll stay.

Wow! I really like this one...in fact, I'm gonna put it in my library! *sigh* You nail sooo many questions and good points when it comes to love. I've always wondered how to say what this poem says---and now...when I find myself still wondering...I'll think back to this. Thanks! And be sure to check out some of my work!

This is sooo good!!! I like it alot, and I can kinda relate. Maybe you should give the guy this poem, or else try 2 tell him in some other way what your feeling. Anyways, good luck!!!

Very good. And yes, do give the poem to the guy. Such words are sometimes best given with a gift, and poet has no better gift than a poem.
