You already know how I feel,
I’ve said it countless times before,
I don’t care what it takes,
But I can’t take this anymore.

I need you in my life,
And as hard as I can try,
I can’t seem to make you see,
How it hurts with each goodbye.

I know you’ve said that you’re afraid,
But I’m as scared as you,
I’m scared I’m driving you away,
Please tell me what to do.

I wish I just knew how you felt,
But everytime I watch your eyes,
You always seem to turn away,
As if to hide in some disguise.

I don’t want to pressure you,
But I have to know,
Is there something I’m not doing right,
Is there some other love I should show?

I can’t promise that we won’t get hurt,
But there’s something I’ve got to say,
Whether or not you change your mind,
I love you in every little way.

You already know I like this one, and I'm pretty sure it will help convince Rissa too. Good luck, though I'm sure you won't need it. Time and patience my dear. Like they say, all things that are worth the time, usually take just that to get them. Take care, keep writing. Good job.

This was written so well!!  Sounds like something I've gone through way back when..Sucks, huh?  It's a tough situation to be in, but I wish you the best.

I'm happy to hear you love someone so much. Your piece is quite beautiful. You should be proud of this.

This is simply awesome!  The rhyme and meter was right on in most parts... very cool.
I like the structure of the poem.  Some poems I see that are centered shouldn't be, but this was the right way to do it.
I'm so glad to hear that you've found someone like this in your life.  Everyone needs someone once in a while... but ti does sound like a tough situation.  *hugs*  I'm sorry you're faced with this.  But good luck!
And, again, very nice work.
