a universe displayed above
a different world below
the kind of cloudless night i love
stretches from horizon to horizon
met on a side, by the lights
of a distant city
on the other, a glimmering brightless
as the moon hits the waves
i walk between the two
and never want to change

a salty breeze pulls me
tugs me, plays about me
in a damp and salty frenzy
that seems to give life
my bare feet feel the sand
the shells, the cold colc water
every change in terrain i note, and
leave my prints behind
i pull my hands through my hair
and lever want to change

an orange ember glows
a street lamp across the dunes
headlights rake slowly
across the shore
a man gets out of his car
and meets his waiting wife
i walk on, under the stars
leaving the arificial light behind
finding my way again by moon and stars
i never want to change

on my way i meet a shade
and ask him where paradise is
he sais nothing, but to aide
points at the woman at my side
whether i walk the streets
of that distant city
or explore the deeps
of the deep blue sea
i will have here with me, and so
i will never want to change

the beginning was kinda inspired by the first stanza of "i wish u were here" by incubus
and the last stanza was kinda taken from the poem eldorado by...forgot the guy
anyway its dedicated to my one and only girlfriend and baby katie, you all probably know whoshe is online by now

"as below so above and beyond i imagine
drawn beyond the lines of reason
push the envelope, watch it bend"

I enjoyed the poem and thought you did a fine job on it.

Hmm "please let me know what im doin wrong, dont worry bout what i think lol"
Ok!!  First, no one knows me by that name, perhaps because the majority does not call me that, they call me Bel or Isabel.  Hmm...let's think about why...
So everyone just ignore that name, since he's my boyfriend he thinks he's so special he can call me other stuff.  Well, HA!  I'm gonna start calling you by ur middle name there Craig!  Then how will ya like that eh!?!?
Anyway personally I love the poem

The imagery in this is exceptional. You've managed to write a very beautiful scene that sort of reminds me of Grease for some strange reason...lol.

Thanks for the read. Keep sharing.

I hope this still applies.
I truely and sincerely love you Craig.  I am in love with you.  It is my hope that you are too, though that is up to you to decide.  I am sorry for everything.
We can work through this, we can do this, I know it.
I love you con todo mi corazon
