softly,raindrops tap against my window
the gentlest of lullabyes making me feel dimmer
farther away
a sky so dark even the luminious moon was drowned
beneath it's sable coat of clouds
with eyes to the heavens,i search through it's depth
the trace of a smile playing on my lips
for i have learned
that after every raging storm
a rainbow is sure to arise

"god is the biggest under-achiever I know, something good happens god is great, something bad happens,he now works in mysterious ways"

Very nice imagery in this piece. The ending was good.

Nice words of wisdom at the end.
The description was wonderful- It painted a beautiful picture in my head.

You wouldn't worry about what people thought about you if you knew how seldom they did.

Hey this was really good. I thought you did awesome on the poem. Well done here.
