just got back from a trip from winnipeg.

Dear myself,

Can I take this pressure anymore?
Will I fall apart in the night
while you hold me in your arms
Can anyone forgive my sins?
my mortal sins?
The trees won't continue to blow
in the wind
They'll bellow in disgust
The questions I wanted answered
are forgotten in your self-absorbed sea
Come and watch me jump off
this bridge into my misery
The water of innocence
beckons to me in my hour of despair
Let me jump off the bridge into the calm waters

SPLASH!!

I swim away into the dark waters with
a smile on my face.....

I really like this one. I don't know what it was that struck me, but it is awesome! It's another one that is going in the library.

Whoa... VERY dark ending, Regi. I loved the last two lines. Swimming away in dark waters with a smile on your face.. that gave me chills. Yet again, your work seems to always have that effect on me. Nicely done, Regi. I really enjoyed this one.

Ooo this is so deep and black. The ending is especially good for it shows you delve into the darkness but smile at it.

Great ending there regi. I really enjoyed the poem!
