A father, a lover, a friend,
Why did it have to be the end?

A wife, two daughters, and a son,
Will never be able to show you what they’ve become.

The cloud of pain is above,
And with this gives our hearts a mighty shove.

A man that was a friend to all,
Why must this be the downfall?

No more smiles, No more hugs,
A truly great man now rests above.

"Live to love or why live at all"
Deano :)

Yes, a beautiful tribute.  I really liked the way you wrote the poem in couplet form.  Couplets are good times   This is a well written poem, Dean.  I really enjoyed it   I haven't seen you around Passions much, so I look forward to reading more from you soon, I hope.  Nicely done here.

It's a sad thing that this person had to go, but it was his time and now he rests in a better place. A beautiful tribute this was.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
