The pants don't fit today,
it doesn't look the right way.

The more that you stare,
the more complaining that it's not fair.

So don't eat for a week,
water instead of food you seek.

No one notices what's wrong,
so you feel you don't belong.

You become even more withdrawln
because they don't notice your weight has fallen.

You've become so sickly and pale
as your body slowly begins to fail.

Nothing works anymore
And they're not even sure
if you'll make it another day,
now was this the right way?

What a sad poem.
I can't say I really relate (Heaven forbid I ever miss a meal) but I know of alot of people that can. Great write. You expressed the situation well. I'm really enjoying reading your posts. Keem 'em coming.

Very sad, melancholy words here. I enjoyed the read... thanks for sharing. I really liked the way you used couplets throughout. I think the last stanza could be broken up into two couplets to complete the poem. nice work. Enjoyed.

Wow this truly hit me very hard. I too was belimich a year ago and my weight droped down to 80 pounds. I am much better now and i hope everything is okay for you too.

This was a sad poem and if yer considering living liek this for a long period of time then I would suggest seeking some sort of help in your life. Good luck.
