Somewhere... out there...

0 posted 2001-06-25 09:45 PM

ring around the rosy
a pocketful of rhyme
rumplestiltskin's
spinning gold
one limerick at a time

jack and jill went up the hill
and when they reached the summit
jack fell down on bended knee
and sang to jill a sonnet

little miss muffet
sat on her tuffet
penning a simple senryu
while the itsy bitsy spider
spun a shimmering web of haiku

humpty dumpty sat on the wall
composing a paradelle
before he could write the very last line
he slipped off the wall and fell...his head did swell

little jack horner
sat in the corner
reciting a lovely free-verse
when out of the night
a villian'elle's squall
incited the crowd to disperse

oh curse!

Okay now it is essential I come to your place for the rasberry hot chocolate (what do you put in that stuff, rhyming powder?)    Now, just how cute was this?  And...I adore rhymes and fairytales, so this was fun!
