Now and Forever

My dear friend please pardon my anxiety.
A wonderful friendship drew us so close together
yet now I am fearful of losing you forever.
Yes its true a million times I cared for you
still now I know I must let go.
The need to let go is clear while my heart yearns to hold you near.
I am so excited for you that your special angel has embraced you dear.
His soft heart and love are now yours to endear.
This is a special blessing from God above.
How nice of him to send you a special angel to love.
As more and more of your love and caring and concern go his way less and less will bless my day.
Yet this is how how love must be and so shall I continue to love you apart from me.
Now and forever that shall be my destiny.
