Quote The Maven Have you ever-tripped on the word of if? It’s a little black word that chirps like a bird It comes through as miff and ends in a riff That changes to curd the shift of what’s heard. The major plead is one of ignorance The only defense is the plead of forgive It’s a seed that grows like a weed of nuisance An abrasion to the mind as long as we live In humans, memories are long in the tooth The if, can be quoted, in any time slot It sleuths in our minds, as a doubt of truth. No matter the rot, weather true or not. It’s something I really never could see The sever of rue and clever of coup It’s prime to our make up and ever to be. It’s never a thing, but a life’s time in view. So often we curl into privacies themes And build us those worlds of fantasies dreams. |
