Long-Upon-A-Time Ago

~*Marge Tindal*~

The winds of desire in recall blew
across the breach of loving you
Wafting memories to renew
the place - the time
spent loving you
~*~
Stranding me
in soft remember
quilled long-upon-a-time ago
when you were mine and loved me so
Desirous wind blows in ice-slivered chill
melting warm memories of loving you still

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

A heart not silent
reaching will be heard
today tomorrow time
that errant cousin

you never mind
call and you shall hear
too many hearts breaking
too many alone too much pain

let it go
in one simple song
it will be it is
Heard

Margie, so softly and painfully expressed perfectly accompanied by the hourglass shape and picture, oh, how I relate.  Into my library this goes~

Take care,
Melissa~

Well...you are sure the "put it all together in a fantastic package Queen" that is for sure.  I love the picture, the shape of your poem, and the poetry was fantastic, and now I can't figure out what came first - the picture or the poem?  (he he, knowing you the hourglass)   Whatever, beautifully done as usual, but do I expect any less, no!

Mysteria~
Thanks for the sweet compliment ...
The poem came first, the 'hourglass' just fell into place with the words and then the search for the photo ...

LOL !  In the search for the photo,
I was 'inspired' by three other pictures and had to take time to write three other poems before I could get this one posted !
Glad to know the effort was worth it.
Thank you for noticing !

You knew I'd love this one, didn't you? *S*

Stranding me
in soft remember

A place I never want to leave unless it's to make new memories with the one remembered most softly. *S* Beautiful!
