a time will come for singing and when that time comes the beating of my heart will be with the power of the written word the filling of my soul will be with the love of one who makes me happy the dreaming of my mind will be with the stories of a lifetime a time will come for singing and when that time comes you and I will look with mirrored eyes and see the love we have sought we will hold each other close like a treasure not made of gold and our lips will speak the words that we've waited a lifetime to hear a time will come for singing and when that time comes all the tears of our weary lives will have been shed from our eyes and all the sorrows of our darkness will have been known by our souls and all the chains of our existence will have been broken by our love a time will come for singing and when that time comes I will know that my life has not been lived without purpose or in vain I will know that my heart has known the deepest expressions of your love and I will know that my words have touched the innermost parts of your very soul a time will come for singing and when that time comes my life shall be my own your heart will be mine my heart will be yours and our love will live forever ----------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

   CONGRATS SVEN ON YOUR 9000 POST!!!  and...WOW!...i loved this piece... "a time will come for singing and when that time comes all the tears of our weary lives will have been shed from our eyes and all the sorrows of our darkness will have been known by our souls and all the chains of our existence will have been broken by our love" the whole piece blew me away...but on that stanza...you just hit a homerun  thanks for sharing this beautiful piece i really enjoyed every minute i read this...thanks again sven ...and until your next 1000...i'm addicted to passions in poetry!...are you? Beautifully romantic work...."a time will come for singing" what greater way to express you innermost feelings than through the beauty of songs and the way they celebrate the accomplishment of a lifetime of searching for love and then finding it! I really love the romance of this ending....
