The truth from me you've asked.
As time and distance fail to call,
To reality's unfated grasp.

So knows my love no boundaries, dear
This heart from me you hold,
As distance lashes with his whip,
I'm loved but left and cold

Forever daunting is this haunt,
That love, no boundaries knows,
Forever whispers in your eyes,
Rapid beating never slows.

I love you concentrated, sir
You'd know not the difference today,
Of whispers granted in the night,
And of borders left to slay.

And so you'd leave me lying here,
Love's ravaged body tamed.
A gasp of breath for one last air,
Suspended teardrops ever framed.

Light knows borders even now,
My case too vividly makes,
For images stand too near these truths,
Strength this journey takes.
