Do you know who I am? Indeed, you say.
And yet as I sit here speculating thoughts to be transcribed,
words to explain with poetic detail that already known in
obvious extreme, I wonder at the same time.

Growth into the idea of time as welcome companion
rather than enemy of wants and desires is a newbie to me,
albeit, it seems less far fetched than the possibilities of
getting...Indeed, you do say I'll have it, and the mere
thought of your " 'I'm getting there' glimmers ", well...

I embrace you, with insecurities being laid aside, because
I do know who you are; I say indeed.
And I've been waiting a lifetime for the celebration.
Across my mind races pictures of you, while my eyes
focus, staring but a moment into yours, on the brilliance
of glancing through the doorway of your soul.

It placed its eternal mark, and thus I do know myself.
So, if indeed you're getting there, and I shall have,
I cherish time as my friend, you as my hope,
and us as my want.

All of the poetry musings aside & simply put, I love you.

Thank you, Isis! It has taken weeks for me to get a new computer after the last one crashed... finally got back on here. Thanks for your words of encouragement. Coming from such an eloquent person, I am flattered and thrilled.
