When I have given nothing but love, Support all along the way, Why did he turn his back? Suddenly I seemed to fade. Friendship forgotten, So many links broken, Was it something I said? Or was it what wasn't spoken? The cause I cannot understand, The feelings of bewilderment and loss, Now it seems, Like no one gives a toss. So painful when my good isn't good enough, To be looked on with pity or distain, To be abandoned and forgotten totally, I will never view any friendship the same again. *The greatest warrior is one that does not need to fight* ~Isis~ |

Friendship forgotten, So many links broken, Was it something I said? Or was it what wasn't spoken? Sometimes the not knowing why someone leaves us is the hardest part to deal with. |

Isis~ Well .... I 'give a toss' !  Friendship is a difficult thing to tend in another's heart ... Thanks my friends.  It hurts when you give your all and somehow it isn't good enough. I put in a lot of work and time emotionally and physically and it seems I've served my purpose..As much as you enjoy them or love them sometimes you have to let go.. but the most important thing is.. I know how you feel. I've been betrayed by a few friends. I tryed to be their friends, but it didn't work. Great poem! Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself. That's what I live by. |
