For so many years I remember ... Fighting for one last breath Being taunted and teased While waiting for my death For so many years I remember ... Suffering from all the pain Being caught within a maze While I always took the blame For so many years I remember ... Crying those acid tears Being burnt beyond recognition While only counting the years For so many years I remember ... Turning the other cheek Being scared of the gossip While others thought I was weak For so many years I remember ... Wanting to end it all Being frightened and self-contained While waiting for my call For so many years I remember ... Falling alseep with tears Being swollen in the mornings While starting a new day of fears The hardest thing to do is watch someone you love, love someone else!
